News - NDNA 2010 Campaign

Healthy body, happy me
NDNA's national campaign encourages healthy lifestyles for children
NDNA’s healthy body, happy me campaign was launched in 2006 and aims to equip nurseries with the tools and ideas to ensure that children have the ‘energy for play, learning and fun.’
The campaign has three core aims:

• Raise awareness of the importance of good health and its affect on the happiness of children
• Enable nurseries to help children stay happy and healthy
• Give children positive experiences of a healthy lifestyle.

healthy body, happy me 2010
As part of healthy body, happy me, NDNA members can show their commitment to healthy lifestyles for young children by taking part in a celebratory week from 15 - 21 March 2010. Each day has a special theme so that member nurseries can organise activities based around the theme.

• Monday - Muddy Monday
• Tuesday - Big Breakfast
• Wednesday - Music from around the World
• Thursday - Stop the Rot
• Friday - Feel Goog Yoga
• Saturday - Wonderful Weekend Fun
• Sunday - Wonderful Weekend Fun

We have registered our support for this campaign
Members report that taking part in healthy body, happy me is a great way to promote how they support healthy lifestyles for young children to parents, MPs, the local media and wider community.
